Ok this is just to signify that this week's scan (One Piece 510) may be a bit late. Unexpected thing unexpectedly popped up and I wasn't able to sit down to some solid scanlation.

Oddly though, I did find some time to finish working on a new cleaner template for the site. Well, not quite "finished".. there may still be kinks here and there. And if you think it looks like a porn site then you may be right.

It's about damn time.

Here's the deal:

I'm shifting Naruto to the lower priority projects and concentrate my efforts on One Piece. That does not mean that the NBST is dropping Naruto. Very far from it.

It means I'll be doing a One Piece chapter every week first. Then if there is time, I'll do a Naruto chapter. Or Not. Ideally It should be other team members that clean Naruto instead of me. With Naruto on a lower priority, it means the cleaning can drag on to later in the week. So that will give more time to new members to train.

Meaning that I will be recruiting, hopefully, in a short while.

yeeah. It's over! finally. It took me a little longer than expected to make this post. Things to destroy, people to kill, you know how it is.

anyway:



How it was decided:

First there was a vote. But that failed. The poll plugin died.

Then there was a second vote. That one didn't fail but there were relatively few voters. So I called in some judges. 1 guy, 1 girl and 1 gender confused. So that was a heterogeneous panel. The judges were super voters with votes each. That's 30+29+28+...+3+2+1 votes. meaning that the entry they liked most got a boost of 30 votes. And the entry they liked least got only 1 vote. The entries in the middle were given a vote proportional to the grade they were given by the judges.

and added to that some extra scaling (just normalising it to a nice round 100 votes for the winner) and you get the current results...


well done! you have won absolutely nothing!! I'll have to try and get your impressions.
